Kiteboarding is currently the fastest growing extreme sports in the world. It first started in Hawaii with windsurfers and surfers experimenting on different techniques and kites. With space age know how, the sport has metamorphosis into an exhilarating and adventurous sport for many kiters.

Kiteboarding in Malaysia is gradually gaining its popularity among Malaysians in general. This is a very physical sport which is easy enough to learn with proper instructions and a good amount of coordination between mind and body.

Currently in Malaysia, Leo’s kiteboarding center, also known as kiteboardingmalaysia.com is located on the beach front of Duta Village, is one of the best beach for beginners as well as advance kiteboarders. With a wide span of beach which is hardly crowded makes it a perfect beach to learn.

Come weekends, students as well as other kiteboarders will make their way through a 3 hours journey from Kuala Lumpur (via the new KL - Kuantan Highway) to meet up with their fellow kiters for a fun-filled weekend away from the maddening crowd in Kuala Lumpur. We also have many students from all over the world coming to the kite center for lessons. On average each student usually takes between 2 to 3 days to be able to kite. Our record student took only a day and he was ripping through the water by the end of the day.
